"So he's married to her and your dating them both. How does that work ?" . This has to be the most asked question I get almost every time I start explaining my situation to anyone. (Which is probably why I haven't been too open about it till now).
Our relationship works out so well because we believe in communication, trust, and love. We work with each other not against each other. We are kind and respectful to each other, and we listen to what we each have to say. What confuses me the most is isn't that how all relationships are? Shouldn't each relationship be built on these same skills?
Poly relationships to me are just what most people would call a typical relationship. We have our ups and and our downs. We fight and then we make up. We talk about everything under the sun and we listen.

But how does that work? How does the logistics of a relationship work?
Daddy is married to his babygirl Kat. I have an open relationship with Daddy and a relationship with Kat as well we also each have a separate relationship with the one we are considering to be our forth. These are our separate relationships, but we all have a relationship together as well. We have secure relationships within all of our group because we built on those values that I mentioned about above.
So the relationship with Daddy, Kat and myself was a triad relationship like the second depiction in the picture on the right. However, We have now added a thought a forth joining into our mix, which will turn our triad into a group with the same configuration as the last explanation in the same picture.
