On Sunday evening I stayed home with the kiddos to recharge the last of my personal battery but Daddy and Sissy decided to go out to our local Brantford munch and catch up with a few old friends, and had a blast meeting new friends as well. I'm looking forward to next time when I'm able to go too, and meet the great people they came home and told me about.
Monday..4/20, Daddy and I went out around 6:30 in the morning to get gas, cigars, and breakfast for everyone (including the kids before BooBoo went to school) and we headed up to Toronto to Young & Dundas Square for the Legalize Weed rally that was going on. It was really pretty amazing, there were police and security all over but nobody was causing trouble and everything was nice and friendly.
Saw some pretty wicked glass pieces, learned about a few different legal dispensaries, and got to talk to some interesting people, including a man from Halifax who had driven up to pick up a dog, stay for the rally and then head back home. He shared with us the story of a friend of his that had unfortunately had a bad run with the police and lost his medical usage..he was there to support his friend, and the others that need it for medical reasons, though he himself was a recreational smoker.
We got home sometime around 8 pm..ordered some deep fried pickles from Pizza Pizza (Under Fries & Rings..they're DILL-icious!), had some snuggles and unwind time and then Daddy tucked Sissy and I into bed.
It oddly enough somehow worked out that we ended up not actually having any weed of our own, and I was barely able to make the just over an hour drive into Toronto. I was nauseous, hungry but could NOT eat, I attempted 4 different times to eat and was unsuccessful every time. We crossed paths with many people that were willing to share some of their supply with us, and not long after that I was ready to eat. I've been talking a lot lately about my own personal issues that I'm facing, from anxiety/depression to the physical things such as pain, insomnia, and nausea, and this just helps prove how much weed actually does help with these things. That's not the WHOLE point of this post..but figured it was a pretty good point to make..so had to add it here!
Tuesday - Coscto. For those of you that have been, I'm sure that's all I really need to say, for those of you that haven't..there's not really any way to make you understand how HUGE and INSANE this place is. It should be like Ikea with arrows painted on the floor, except most people are STILL too stupid to follow them...so maybe just heard us all through the store like livestock? Zap the ones that take too long to get out of the way too...I have LOTS of shit to get done people! There was also a major trip to Michael's (the craft store) for Sissy and I because uh...we like crafty stuff. Daddy let us go in together without him and have half an hour to look around and buy whatever we wanted! We ended up being an extra 10 minutes (oops!), but Daddy was enjoying his alone time, music and coffee so much he didn't even notice, and we didn't get in trouble!
I've recently discovered Skritch Skratch art..(thanks to Sissy) where the top layer is black with a pattern and you scrape it away to reveal colour under the black to make the picture..they're really fun and keep me entertained when I can't get out of bed so picked up a bunch (only $1.50!!) for the next time I'm not feeling well.
After we did that stuff Tuesday, we headed out to London to see friends of Daddy's and mine that live there, we took Little One with us and introduced her as our girlfriend for the first time to someone who is not in the kinky or poly 'lifestyle' but as they're such good friends of ours I knew she would be welcomed and loved for her, and because WE chose her, and to have her as part of our family.
I of course was right. It went well, and I'm looking forward to being able to let more and more of our vanilla (non-lifestyle) friends know about her, and how much we all love her.
We had intended to head out from their place around 7:30 to attend the London Poly Munch that was taking place that evening as well, but since we were having such a great time with our friends, we decided to stay there, have some pizza and chat.
We left around 10 pm and due to some vehicle issues (a flashing check engine light?!) and RAIN we didn't make it home until midnight. WAY too late of a night for Baby Girl and Little One! Daddy tucked us into bed right away!
Wednesday..moooooooore groceries. A trip to Walmart this time. Stock up on the basic things we need, that we always need. Lunch stuff for the kiddos, medicines, orange juice, and MILK..which I have to g buy more of today.. ALREADY! (It's Thursday morning for anyone wondering...).
I had to make a trip into the place where I get the stuff for my hair it SERIOUSLY needs to be bleached and coloured again. The brand I use (Ion) just came out with some new neon colours and I got chartreuse (which is a neon shade of green for those un-arty people) to go with my purple and fuchsia. I'm really excited for Daddy to decide how it's going to look, I'll be sure to post pictures on my profile through the contact page so that you can all check it out if you want!
(Side Note: We're also discussing a gallery here..yay or nay? Cast your vote in the comments section for now, and we'll do an official poll down the road!)
By the time Daddy was ready to go get BooBoo from school I was falling asleep. I managed to stay awake until she got home and spent about 5 minutes talking with her before my body and brain both decided it was time for me to rest again and I fell asleep.
BooBoo has been doing great at school lately, so as incentive and help encourage her (she has a learning disability and school is rather difficult for her because of it..remember, she's only 6!) she got to pick what we'd have for dinner last night. She wanted (and it shouldn't surprise me..it's one of her faves) East Side Mario's, and I was SO thankful that they deliver when Daddy woke me up and asked me what I wanted to order. I slept off and on until dinner got her around 6, got the kiddos cleaned up after, snuggled them, Daddy tucked them in, and I promptly fell asleep again.
Daddy and Little One were sitting here doing something, but I have absolutely NO idea what. Around 8:30 Little One woke me because BooBoo needed me; she needed some extra cuddles, she'd had a bad dream, so I got her and The Monkey (who was now awake from the noise) a drink and crawled in bed to snuggle with her. I again fell asleep. Little One told me this morning that she did try and wake me just before 9, but it apparently was an unsuccessful attempt, I woke up and stumbled to my own bed around 9:30.
When I got to my own room, Daddy was sound asleep and Little One was nowhere to be seen. I went and checked her room (which I had walked right past) and found her sound asleep in her bed. When I went to see BooBoo and The Monkey, Daddy and Little One both fell asleep in our bed, when Little One woke up she decided to go to her own bed, that's when she checked on me and tried to wake me up, I had NO idea that she had talked to me, or that she had gone to bed.
I feel a little bad about that because every night before bed I tell her I love her, and give her a hug & kiss, Daddy also tucks her in and snuggles with her, which is something else that unfortunately didn't happen last night. These are the consequences of too many TOO busy days in a row...I kissed Daddy goodnight when I crawled into bed beside him and I went to sleep.
All of us in bed and sleeping before 10 pm, THOSE are the moments of joy to me.
The kiddos woke up again around 4 am, Sissy, and Daddy both tried to deal with them and then finally had to call me in..I'm always the one the kids want, but am not always available so we're trying to teach them that. I got them both settled and back in bed, and then the three of us sat together smoking cigars, and eating ice cream.
After about an hour we did the goodnight ritual that USUALLY happens, except Daddy fell asleep in bed with Sissy and I got a few hours in our bed, under my white & leopard print princess canopy to myself; which was rather blissful I must admit.
This morning like most mornings Daddy woke me up with a bong all loaded up and read to be smoked. Then Sissy and I each got to have an iced fudge brownie that we picked up fresh from the bakery yesterday...what a perfect way to start off the morning!
Sissy has gone to spend the day dog-sitting for her parents and Daddy and I are just hanging out with The Monkey while BooBoo is at school. I miss Sissy and incredible amount when she's not here, but we can't be glued together all the time!
These are the days that I love so very much. Relaxed, calm, no rush, no plans.
Just being.
