It's true you know; they don't.
What in bloody hell does this have to do with anything?
Daddy, Little One, myself and the kidlets are looking to move from our cramped two bedroom apartment into something more suitable.
We're looking for something that's ideally 4-5 bedrooms with two bathrooms, a kitchen big enough to eat in, with a built in dishwasher (that isn't me or Little One), laundry (perferably main floor), a fenced back yard big enough to entertain in, and an area that we can make for adult relaxation time for when the children are in bed for the night; and be for rent.
Whoa..I was starting to sound like a Nickleback song there!
Sounds simple enough right? Right.
Except it's not.
Everything that fits our 'dream rental' idea is WAY WAY out of our price range, like $2,200 A MONTH.. If that's normal where you live, and you can afford that..WOW! You're lucky! For us, that's a very big dream and unatainable for the time being, so we're looking in a much lower price bracket.
Knowing that what we'd ideally love to have is out of our price range means we have to compromise on some things; we can go down on the number of bedrooms, but no less than 3.
We also don't need to have a built in dishwasher (though it would be extremely nice *cough*Daddy*cough*), and there doesn't have to be main floor laundry, but let's face it, we're 5 people and 2 of us are SUPER messy (we'll assume that's the kids *wink*) so laundry somewhere on site is a must.
A kitchen to spend time together in is ideal, right now we have a kitchen that is away from the dinning area, and it's just not working for us.
A fenced yard is also a must with two young children. They NEED to be able to have outside space to play and explore, without someone having to hover right over them all the time.
So we're still having trouble finding something ideal in our price range.
Daddy and I were out driving around the other day and making jokes about some of the run down houses that are no longer liveable possibly being in our price range.
At one point I found a rather impressive pile of dirt, and Daddy so kindly informed me that "Dirt piles don't get Wi-Fi" to which my little internet dependant heart was crushed to hear.
So the conclusion is that we will NOT be re locating to a dirt pile, because I just wouldn't be able to live without Wi-Fi.
